Two years ago we stayed at this Drury Inn and found it to be very nice. Now, 2 years later, here we are again. The rooms are spacious and clean, bathrooms nice, beds comfy, location great, staff friendly, overall apearance is appealing, price reasonable, free soft drinks with ice, popcorn machine, breakfast and a small supper to boot! How could you ask for more? There is also free internet, a pool and fitness room. We will definitely stay again if our travels take is to Amarillo. Highly Recommended.

clean but avoid room fronting Interstate 40
01/16/2010Exterior walls not soundproof if your room fronts the interstate. running the fan continously can buffer that otherwise you will lose sleep. happy hour & breakfast are better at embassy suites ...
Exterior walls not soundproof if your room fronts the Interstate. Running the fan continously can buffer that otherwise you will lose sleep. Happy Hour & breakfast are better at Embassy Suites but there may not be one in Amarillo. Very clean room. Very, very comfortable bed. Do not expect a local newspaper unless you hike to a Furr's next door. There is no concierge nor overly helpful desk staff. Travel website price saved me about $* from their off the street price.

Made the reservation after reading the previous reviews, The room was clean warm and the breakfast was outstanding. I'll come back again. even close to good dinning and shopping. only down side was the sound of other doors closing in hall way.

Location was easy to get to. The breakfast and evening drinks/snacks were nice. The only thing was the window was not sealed right, and the wind was whistling in the window. I reported it on check out and they were going to have it fixed. The staff handled it very nicely. I would definitely stay here again when in Amarillo.

This is a comfortable hotel. Breakfast was good and they even had plenty of happy hour food; however, we had an ugly second floor room that we didn't prefer. Next time, I'll go with the Hampton.
